We had a great time the house was just perfect. We found everything that we needed for a great stay for the week to add to our enjoyment my grandson proposed to his girlfriend on the beach,we are all so excited

We booked this place for a girls retreat since it was a centralized location for all of us. We found the house to be well stocked with pretty much anything we could want/need in the pantry, fridge (condiments), cabinets (dishes, pots/pans, storage containers, baggies, aluminum foil, coffee filters, etc.... ), bathroom/toiletries, etc.... This made it MUCH easier for us all and we didn't need to bring along so much.
The house was easy walking distance to the beach area and town for shopping/restaurants. We felt very safe walking around, sitting on the porch, and inside the home. Beds were comfortable, though the two smaller ones were obviously better suited for children (the room was tight for 2 adult women and the beds were close to the floor- we made it work with no issues). Towels/linens were plentiful. And, there was enough room throughout to have separation, yet places to sit together and socialize.
Gwen & Walter were very responsive. We had two minor issues when there, but they were easy to reach by phone and immediately responded to rectify the problems. They obviously care about the satisfaction/comfort of the guests- that meant a lot.
We would stay again and may just make it an annual trip. (PS- the driveway was a bit tight with 2 SUV's - just be prepared. But, the street was empty and we could have parked there if needed- we were fine.

We were there for the weekend on a company retreat the property is very nice quiet and right near the beach. Shopping was a breeze due to the market being 5 mins away.

This house is the perfect location in Colonial Beach!
The hosts were very helpful answering questions for me. They have a beautiful property with plenty of space & extra amenities available.
We hope to make this a yearly house to visit.
