Nice and quiet, pretty great facilities, helpful staff

Great property, best hostel dorms of my life. Restaurant had some really good options as well.

The only thing to not like was that AC is turned off between 11 AM to 4 PM, but it is really not much of an inconvenience. You can always nap in the hammocks on their private beach during this time.

Super nice place, staff is so friendly. Very clean. 15min drive to GL is absolutely worth it to enjoy a more peaceful area.

The beach in front of the hostel is not so nice but a 5min drive with the scooter and you can reach a nice beach. The staff is so friendly but I think the owners set very strict rules... more flexibility on negotiations for scooter rental is recommended lower price per day for longer rental, surf wrack upgrades or for example surf skate for ID would add a unique touch and ensure customers rent the staff in the hostel instead of outside. Please add at least some basic scrambled eggs to the menu at the restaurant.

I loved being in Malinao, it’s a quiet place and still you are only 15 minutes from General Luna. If you rent a motorbike it’s perfect. The room was very clean. I’ve met very nice people from everywhere in the world. There were activities organized by volunteers so we can socialize all together. We went to activities together and it really helped to know each other. The staff was really helpful and nice and also the breakfast and the Indian restaurant just upstairs are both really tasty. You have free drinks during the afternoon (sodas, bears etc). Very glad I chose Bajala for my last days in Siargao.
