We enjoyed our stay and the location as a family with young kids. It was just steps to the beach and we were happy to have a bagel/donut and an ice cream shop very close by. We also enjoyed the Saturday market and splash pad by the bridge. Only complaints are that there was a lot of sand on the balcony that faced the road and crumbs in silverware drawer. The appliances are smaller than typical which makes sense for a small space, but it was a bit awkward trying to work with them. The oven did not alert us when it was warmed to whatever temp we set it to so cooking was a little difficult in that respect. There was some confusion with the trash bins and no directions that we could find stating exactly where they were located. There were guests next door so we didn’t venture to the other side of the building since we felt that was their space, but we found the trash cans there. There was also a grill and a shower on that side of the property too that we didn’t know about until a few days into our stay so more direction would have been helpful there too. If we did need something, the host was very responsive. The master shower pressure was glorious! I would have loved more light blocking curtains in the bedrooms. The couch was so comfortable we tried to find out the brand so we could get one for home, but only one recliner worked. The other was against the was so it wouldn’t have worked anyway I guess. Overall would recommend. Tighten up the cleans and it would have been 5 stars.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would give this beach house five stars without hesitation! The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do, especially our favorite destination: the beach. One of our favorite local treats was Islands Donuts, which quickly became a daily morning walk for our family. The beach access was incredible. Being able to simply walk to the beach was such a luxury, and not having to load sandy chairs and gear into the car every day was a huge bonus. The beach itself was quiet and uncrowded, often feeling like we had our own private stretch of shoreline. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with great beach necessities, which made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. A special thank you to Maritime Rental. They were always available with a quick text whenever we had a question, and they even connected us with tickets to the Alligator Farm. The $300 worth of tickets was an amazing surprise and added so much fun to our vacation. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent place, especially for families with children and dogs! The location is perfect—quiet, peaceful, and close to great restaurants and activities. The property itself is beautifully updated, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The beach was absolutely incredible, and our family truly enjoyed every moment of our trip in St. Augustine. What stood out most was the personal touch and attention to detail. The accommodations and thoughtful arrangements made our stay feel extra special and created wonderful memories for our family. Our kids had an amazing vacation, and we are already looking forward to planning our next trip. We can't wait to book again in the future. The property is not steps from the beach it is on the street, the balcony faces the street, not sure where the pic with the steps in the sand were taken, misleading. Property was clean and well stocked, just not in a good location if looking for beach views.
