Simon is very considerate and accomodating owner. Our check-in time was very late around 12:30 am, but Simon waited for us and checked us in to ensure we have everything we needed. We got in late due to delays in our evening direct flight from Winnipeg plus the huge line up for the car rental and we had to get some food in town before getting to the place. We were very thankful to Simon for his hospitality. We stayed on the ground floor, it was awesome. He prepared various amenities such as coffee pods, shampoo and soap. There were also lots of towels, cutleries, dishes, refrigerator, microwave and kettle for quick food warm up. We bought Korean cup noodles for quick breakfast, and kettle was perfect for this. The site also have fast wifi and TV. This place is very spacious for 3 people. The shower and the toilet was separate. There were also sinks in every room, a total of 5 sinks including the ones in the kitchen and shower. This was handy when bathroom became occupied. Water temperature was perfect for the shower and living room heater unit was effective at keeping the temperature warm in the house. He also set lots of motion sensed lights which you can also turn it off. Their tap water is drinkable, sourced from underground and purified, it was one of the most tasty water we ever had. The place was very quiet at night time. Overall, we had a relaxing and pleasant time during our short stay.

Try to get there early or during daylight because the drive to get there is very dark if it's your first time in the province or driving. There is no street lights in most of the places, some lights are turned off in the towns/cities as well. From the airport, this place took about 30 minutes. Location might be a bit far for some people to get to Halifax, Peggy's cove or other landmarks, minimum 10 minutes to get into the town. This wasn't an issue for us however. We prefer spacious rooms, quietness and less crowded place and this place was perfect for us. The drive itself was great except for the lack of street lights. The road condition was awesome and considering where we are visiting from, 10-15 minutes is a short drive to most places. The house itself is modernized and nicely updated, but the flooring is fully tiled, so it might be cold on bare feet. Central heater in the living room is effective, but it seemed like there is no heaters in each room. You'd have to keep the room doors open. For each sink in the room, having mirrors would be nice so people don't have to use the bathroom for mirrors, but this is minor thing. The place itself was great! Owner was very kind, considerate and cares about their clients. It was a great first place to stay for our long road trip.

Das Appartement ist wirklich ein kuscheliges Nest unterm Dach, schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und Parkplatz, was für uns sehr wichtig war. Der Gastgeber ist wirklich ein reizender Mensch, zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich. Er hatte nichts dagegen, dass wir unseren Camper für die Verschiffung versandtfertig gemacht haben und auch noch ein zweites Auto hinzukam. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Haus ist leider sehr hellhörig. Man kann die anderen Feriengäste leider nicht überhören. Im Zimmer gurgelt oder brummt immer irgendetwas, der Kühlschrank...die Lüftung oder Heizung.... Uns hat es nicht so viel ausgemacht, wir haben trotzdem gut geschlafen...

It was way overpriced. Very impersonal.
