The room was a spacious size for 2 people, even had a desk which was great for us to get a little work done on the laptop. The shower is only on the first floor, but it didn’t bother us. The toilet facilities are kept very clean. The house is a traditional wooden japanese house, with renovations to make it feel more new and comfortable.
The property is on the junction of 2 streets, and the walls are not sound proof. You can hear some traffic but it’s not too bad.

Very good location, close to everything and convenient. Beds were comfortable, hosts were kind and friendly.
We were a family with young kids and had our own quadruple sharing room, so slightly not the usual demographic for what seems to be a youth hostel and the shared dorm next door but we were comfortable the two nights we stayed and the house is very quiet at night.
