Old Abbey House

The overall ambience of the building was great, the location excellent as was the cleanliness of the room. Welcome tea and coffee was appreciated and the overall quality of the room was to a very high standard. The room was very well fitted including the en-suite which was bright and immaculate. Parking on site (included in the price on first come first served basis) was a real bonus. Waitrose is just round the corner!! Overall it was a lovely place to stay and we would definitely stay again.

This is purely personal but the pillows were very hard and sleep was a problem. The room being at the top of the building was very warm all the time and you need the air conditioning unit on to stay cool.

Excellent position for us, being near the friends we were visiting & close to the town centre while being just a little out of the way, tucked through the arch & so very quiet. Abingdon is delightful town.

The TV was too fancy for my simple mind & we found it hard to operate! Also the towel rail in the en suite! A bit too modern & techie for us! We needed a plain speaking manual. It felt a bit strange having no one on site in reception. There wasn’t enough milk provided, but rummaging through the cupboard in the reception area I found some more supplies.

L'emplacement était top. Il y avait un parking. La chambre était spacieuse.

Les toilettes étaient très sales. Le gobelet à brosse à dents était sale. Il n'y a pas de personnel à l'accueil, nous avons dû appeler un numéro. Le badge est distribué par un appareil qui fait le check-in. Tellement impersonnel !
