Comfortable and good location. Derek was very helpful with good communication.

Quiet, safe neighborhood outside of Valletta city walls. That means a 20 minute walk to those attractions, but it also means you didn't have to put up with the crowds and nightclub noise. This area has some great restaurants outside of the city walls that are easy to overlook. There is a market a couple of blocks away you can use to stock the refrigerator. We used Bolt to get around, so didn't have a car and I can't comment on the parking, but I wouldn't want to drive in that part of Malta anyway. The place is very close to the buses. The apartment was great and just as the listing photos showed. The stairs are typical Malta-steep stairs, so this is not a good place if you have mobility issues. The air conditioner and washing machine worked as expected, although the second bedroom can get a little warm because it doesn't have direct access to the AC units unless the master bedroom door is left open. We would definitely stay here again.

It would have been convenient to have another end table or a credenza downstairs to place your daily needs (sunglasses, hat, phone, etc.) instead of having to use the large kitchen table.

Very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Great having kitchen facilities and washing machine. Good location, easy walk to Valletta as well as the fast ferry to Gozo and boats to the 3 cities. Good communication with Derek, he provided good instructions to the property and replied quickly to any questions we had.

Convenient for centre of Valletta. Close to cafe and supermarket. Nice renovation of old house. Prompt responses from owner.

In a location where lots of renovation was taking place which led to a lot of building noise early in morning and sleep disruption. We were wedged between two properties which were being renovated.Some mention of this needs to be included in information provided about the property by the owner and/or booking.com. Debris from one renovation littered the pavement next to our property for our stay. Very unsightly. AC unit in the bedroom was very noisy and not possible to use if in the room. Despite instructions about how to access the TV, it was impossible to get a signal throughout our stay. Unfortunately I was badly bitten during the night by mosquitoes, warranting a visit to a chemist next day for tablets and ointment. The size of the insect spray in the cupboard suggests that this again was an issue that might have been anticipated, but we had not been aware of it. Some sort of welcome pack might have been nice by the owner, Instead we were met with random bits of food in a cupboard left by previous guests, two tea bags and solidified coffee granules at the bottom of a jar. Perhaps these need to be disposed of by whoever is responsible for cleaning the flat before new guests arrive. Despite the fact that there was a washing machine, there were no tablets available. Surely guests shouldn’t be expected to go out and buy their own? More care needs to be taken in ensuring that everything they say is available actually is.
