Nice quiet location, easy to find. Apartment had everything we needed.

Good sized comfortable apartment with a few minor niggles. Netflix account included which is great. Also love it has dishwasher and washing machine. It's also very quiet, particularly the bedrooms which face the back of the property. Location is fine easy reach to rest of Northumberland coast and supermarkets within 10 minute drive. The question for me is always would I look to book again and in this case yes I would.

Much like the majority of properties in the UK I find the late check in times and early check outs extremely irritating. As someone who travels extensively the norm everywhere else seems to be 2pm check in and 12 check out, so I do feel like we are being shortchanged in the UK. That said, Sue agreed to let us check in at 3 rather than stated 4pm. The other issue are ones that seem to pop up in virtually every review. Lack of simple essentials, no coffee, a couple of tea bags, no salt and pepper, no shower gel or bathroom soap on arrival, no dish cloths in kitchen. Again, host sent dish cloths and hand gel but other items still missing. Tap to bathroom sink is loose and also very difficult to turn off completely. The toilet itself is loose. These appear to be a reoccurring issues with the cleaners and a lack of general maintenance.

Easy to find and good base for visiting surrounding beauty spots and places of interest

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The place was spotless, very well maintained, and exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment had everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The location was great, with easy access to local amenities and transport. Communication with the host was smooth and efficient throughout, and everything was well organised. Overall, a very enjoyable experience – we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay.

The sofa bed was quite soft and not very comfortable for sleeping.
