We had a wonderful stay at the Tile House. The property is very clean, looks exactly as advertised, and sits in a beautiful, upscale neighborhood, offering excellent value. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the evenings here—enjoying the cool breeze at dusk, listening to the wild birds, and watching the sky fill with beautiful colors as the sun went down. I also want to highlight how wonderfully responsive the hosts are: when we noticed the shower amenities needed a quick top-up upon arrival, they brought fresh bottles over immediately with a smile. They also gladly provided us with washer detergent capsules when we asked.

It is clearly a well-loved property. While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, we felt that a few minor updates could easily make the space even more inviting. A few extra cozy touches, like providing boxed tissues, a dish rack in the kitchen, and some comfy cushions or a warm quilt for the sofa, would be wonderful additions. The garden is already a lovely spot, and with just a little extra TLC, the outdoor space would truly shine.

Sehr gemütliches kleines Haus mit drei Ebenen (Schlafzimmer im EG und im DG). Liebevoll renoviert, mit vielen individuellen Designelementen aus verschiedenen Jahrzehnten. Wunderbar gelegen in einem schicken Vorort von Brüssel. Trotzdem ist man in wenigen Minuten in der Natur. Rundum tolle Betreuung durch die beiden Gastgeber, die nebenan wohnen.

Wie in der Beschreibung ersichtlich, gibt es keinen Backofen. Das sollte man bei der Planung bedenken. (Mikrowelle mit verschiedenen Funktionen ist aber vorhanden.)

Locatie is zeer rustig en toch dichtbij wandelgebied.

We had the pleasure of spending a week in this charming house located in a green and peaceful area. The house was spotlessly clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, with beautiful ceramic tiles and an interesting historical background that added character to the stay. The location is very well connected — with a nearby train station and the R36 bus stop just a short walk away, getting to the city and surrounding areas was quick and convenient. There are also several shops close by, which made everyday needs easy to manage. The hosts were exceptionally kind, discreet, and understanding. They were always available by phone and responded quickly and helpfully whenever we had questions. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would gladly return in the future.
