There are definitely some positives to this place. The property is well maintained, both indoors and outdoors, and the apartment itself was clean and tidy, although replacing the cleaning sponge between guests would be a welcome improvement. The outdoor area is beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains. The river is just a few minutes’ walk away, with easy access to kayak and rafting rentals, which is a great advantage of the location. The apartment was spacious, and having a separate shower for each bedroom was particularly convenient for us as a family.

The listing explicitly stated that the apartment included a double bed, but we were given two separate twin beds instead, which was uncomfortable and not what we had booked. The biggest surprise was the jacuzzi. The listing stated that each apartment included a “spa bath,” so we naturally understood this to be part of the accommodation. Upon arrival, however, we were asked to pay an additional €50 to use the outdoor jacuzzi, which also had to be shared with guests from the neighboring apartment. After we complained, the owner eventually waived the additional charge, but the jacuzzi remained shared rather than private. Our apartment also had no air-conditioning unit. Instead, the owner had to come and activate the floor-cooling system. It helped somewhat initially, but by the second day it was not particularly effective. The rooms facing east became extremely hot in the morning. The property is also fairly close to a main road. Despite the beautiful surroundings, traffic noise is noticeable, particularly cars and motorcycles passing by. Communication with the owner was difficult. Most communication had to go through an employee because of the language barrier, which made resolving issues more complicated. At some point during our stay, we also stopped receiving responses altogether. Finally, this is obviously a matter of personal taste, but the apartment could benefit from warmer lighting. Most of the lighting is very white and bright, which makes an otherwise nice and spacious apartment feel somewhat cold rather than cozy.

Perfect location, views across the mountains, easy to get up into Poland or a little drive over to the High Tatras if you don’t want to be too close. Two perfect rooms and also a sofa bed. All brand new and modern for 2026 so felt like we were one of the first to use it. Locked gates at the front of the properties, so car was safe and if you have children there is a field they can use and not get close to a road.

Few issues here and there but the owners came and sorted asap. Presume this is due to being only a week or two open when we stayed and will be sorted now.

A large, well-maintained chalet, perfect for a family getaway. Very well equipped.
