Ruim en verzorgd huis.
Complete inventaris en netjes onderhouden. We hebben er regelmatig gekookt in een goede keuken.
De locatie was erg goed. Strand is op loopafstand en werd ook netjes zeewiervrij gehouden. Super fijne standstoeltjes en parasols zijn aanwezigvin het huis om mee te nemen. Net buiten het terein een shoppingmall en het begin van de winkelstraat.
De gezamenlijke tuin is sfeervol aangelegd en prettig om bij het zwembad te liggen
We hadden een beetje pech. De airco deed het niet op de benedenverdieping maar de verhuurder stuurde zo snel als mogelijk een monteur om het op te lossen.
Ook was er net toevallig een probleem met de waterdruk in meerdere wijken van playa waardoor er geen water was maar hier kon de verhuurder niks aan doen.
Het zwembad is fijn maar wel erg warm water.

Location is in Playacar which is a large gated condominium complex, so it is quiet, safe and well-suited to our situation with two three-year olds. We rented bikes for the week which made it easier to get into town, given no Ubers are available/willing to come into Playcar. It was a five-minute walk to the beach which was nice, although there were various rules related to going to the beach which made it more complicated. Agustin our host was friendly and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp in English. The villa itself was comfortable and well-appointed, although not ideal for working remotely from, so one of our group had to find a coworking space instead. Also, the stairs were a bit dangerous for our toddlers, but that's specific to groups with small children/mobility concerns. The gardens around the villa were well-maintained and beautiful, and the pool was mere steps away, which the boys loved.
Security is tight and so we had challenges with a nanny being able to come in. Agustin later explained the issue with her driver not being on the QR code that the security at the front gate requires to let people in.

There is little options for getting downtown so car or bike rental is your best option.
