Very modern and beautifully designed interior. Comfortable and relaxing.
The lack of a bigger private outdoor space. There was a small front garden with a table and chairs but there was nowhere to have a coffee and enjoy the countryside. It was very enclosed and a very restricted view.
The property is on the doorstep of the owners’ property so we were very conscious of being overlooked and observed when we were outside. We couldn’t fully relax as a family which was a shame.

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables, in a beautiful set with accessible pathways to explore. A perfect base to explore Somerset, especially eastern Exmoor and the Quantocks Hills. The house was lovely and very well equipped, the hosts nice and friendly took a great care for our comfort.
