We have rented through VRBO for many years and Richa is at the top of my list for communication, concerns, and overall friendliness! The pool table was a big hit with our grandsons & everyone enjoyed the hot tub. With three families to feed, I personally liked having the kitchen counter space & roomy kitchen area! Yes, the driveway is very steep; in fact, the entire gated community is built on a mountain-side, but this home is wooded which made for pleasant relaxing on the bedroom decks. The drive from the gate is also windy, but you’re in the mountains; this location is perfect for driving to Pigeon Forge or Townsend & the GSMNP entrance (about half hour either way). We were able to park two pick-up trucks at the bottom and an suv off to the side with no problem! You will also be greeted by the neighborhood black bear who frequented the front porch numerous times throughout our week! It helped that we had a dog along to alert us and I had given the kids whistles for outside, but honestly the bear seemed unfazed by our chatter and would leisurely saunter away. Just be aware, he comes up from the woods on the left!!!With our group of ten, we obviously needed more paper products & garbage bags than were provided, but we knew that ahead of time & were prepared. There is enough DW pods and soap to start your stay there. This was not our first time to the Smoky Mts and I can tell you ever visit we’ve explored new places, it never gets old! Take time to enjoy the views!

Cabin is in very good shape and the beds are super comfortable. Loved the hot tub to soothe sore hiking muscles at night. Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Misty Mountain and highly recommend this cute, clean, pet-friendly cabin in the Wears Valley area. It's convenient and cozy and the beds were very comfortable.

My family loved this property. It had everything we needed and it was in a great location, close enough to the action but then secluded after a day on the town and trails. Would definitely book again.
