Dit appartement ligt aan de hoofdstraat als je de Ponte dei Alpini over komt. Vlak bij het centrum dus en toch heb je vanaf het balkon een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. De ontvangst door Mara was goed en we kregen fijne tips met restaurantjes en winkels. In de straat zelf zit op 200 meter een fijn klein supermarktje met lekker brood en verse vleeswaren. In de keuken was alles aanwezig maar het belangrijkste was toch wel het koffiezetapparaat (A modo mio) voor een lekkere espresso.

Het appartement is op de derde verdieping met een smalle trap naar boven. Als je zware tassen bij je hebt is dit lastig. In de straat zelf kun je niet parkeren. Openbare gratis parkeerplaats is een paar minuten lopen. Op het balkon stond een totaal versleten parasol. Dit paste niet bij de rest van het huis. Ik zou hem weghalen.

The location was excellent - very close to the old bridge and old town. Having the beautiful balcony was great for morning coffee and a glass of wine at night! Mara was an excellent host who went out of her way to help us and provided us with good information and recommendations.

The apartment is really only suitable for a couple and two children or a couple and one other adult. The twin beds in the second bedroom are not satisfactory for two adults. The bed in the main bedroom is not very comfortable for people who are tall due to the iron decorative foot bed end. While advertised as air conditioned, there was only 1 air-conditioner which was not in either bedroom. Given the strong prevailing winds, there needs to be some way of keeping all the doors and windows from slamming shut. While there were some door stops, there weren’t enough and the windows slamming were a constant challenge. Stairs into apartments all over Europe are not uncommon. Be aware to get you (and your luggage) into this apartment, there are 47 stairs. It would also be beneficial to take earplugs as there are various early morning rubbish collections and deliveries in the alleyway and street.
