Fijne locatie, tegenover treinstation, metro en bus, heel prettig. Vooral het ruime terras beviel mij het meest.

Het water van de wc bleef een beetje doorlopen. Geen echt probleem want ik kon simpel het waterkraantje dicht doen.

- Location: Excellent location, very close to the metro station and supermarkets. It is also close to Alfama, but without being on the hills. For us, staying in a flat area was very important, and this location was perfect. Praça do Comércio is about a 15-minute walk away, and we really enjoyed walking back. - Apartment: The balcony is spacious and has a lovely view of the river. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the kitchen is large and very well equipped with everything we needed. - Hosts: The hosts were very kind and responsive. They answered all our questions and were helpful from the beginning, which we really appreciated. ***I would definitely recommend this place. My sister and I did a lot of research before choosing where to stay, but something about this place stood out to us, and it truly did not disappoint.

More than things we didn’t like, these are just a few suggestion: - The shower drainage could be checked, as the water doesn’t drain very well and tends to accumulate. - It could also be helpful to have a more powerful fan in the smaller bedroom. - Finding the keys can be a little challenging, but you can always contact the hosts and they are happy to clarify any questions. - Finally, there is sometimes an unpleasant smell in the building’s stairway, similar to wet dog. The apartment itself was clean and smelled nice, so this is only a suggestion for the building management to look into.

The apartment has a great location, very close to the city center and well connected by buses and metro.

However, maintenance is lacking — the bathroom drain is clogged, the shower head leaks, and one room’s window blinds don’t work. There’s no kettle for tea or coffee, which would be a simple improvement. The terrace is nice, but the train noise is very loud, especially at night, so it’s not ideal for light sleepers. Overall, okay for a short stay, but not very comfortable for longer visits.
