We had to change rooms because the AC had some problems but they were fixed very quickly, the showers are a bit uncomfortable but i think that's how they are in egypt generally

The room was small but comfortable and had air conditioning. The owner arranged our transfer from Luxor and a tour of Philae Temple, the Nubian Village, the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam, followed by a lovely felucca ride. Water was included, and we enjoyed the tour.

Although advertised as a studio, the accommodation is more like a room, as there is no kitchen. Our transfer from Luxor arrived three hours late, disrupting our plans for that evening. Some arrangements also felt disorganised: the driver had not been told that lunch was included, so at 11:30 a.m. we were taken to an empty place and served bread with three dips. It didn’t feel like the Nubian lunch we had expected. After we raised this, the owner refunded 200 EGP from the 6,000 EGP total. Breakfast was a takeaway picnic with chips, packaged pastries (and no hot drink), which wasn’t really to our taste. On our departure morning, we had told the owner we were leaving at 9 a.m. When we asked about breakfast at 8:40, he said it would be ready in ten minutes; just before we left, he told us he had prepared a lot of food and asked us to come back upstairs to eat, but it was too late.
