Mulan TLV Hotel

The hotel is rather small, very clean with very friendly staff. Or check in was quick and easy. We used the property oarking. The room was small, minimalistic with a small fridge, TV, tea and coffee bags and an electric teapot. There are food stores, cafes nearby. The sea is about 20minutes on foot. The centre is about 20 minutes on foot, too.

Everything worked well

The hotel has a great location, walking distance to HaHaganah train station and the sea front. And five-minute walk to Levinsky pedestrian street with wonderful bars, restaurants and cafes.

The hotel was nice and comfortable. Not the nicest neighborhood but is gentrifying. Here’s the problem: the hotel does not allow you to bring a guest to your room. And they DO NOT DISCLOSE THIS ON EXPEDIA. Only after booking do they send you a confirmation with a lot of blather that most people (like myself) will never even notice or read, and it’s buried in with other standard and trivial information, toward the bottom. I was unaware of this rule and was stopped by the front desk clerk and the situation was not only embarrassing, but deeply offensive to me. I paid for this room and would have NEVER chosen this hotel if I had known they had this IDIOTIC rule. I’m furious about it still, and believe the hotel should compensate me. They sold me a room for two nights without disclosing — upfront — an onerous restriction on services that I paid a lot of money for.
