Location was perfect just a few short minutes to the beach. The house was immaculate, lots of room for a larger family group, laundry room ( washer and separate dryer ) in the cellar with toilet and shower facilities, main bathroom was very functional and if you want a bath the one in this room is huge ( I didn't use it ) but there for a relaxing evening if you choose too. Nice touches with mints and individual shower gel tubes. Parking near by was easy. Waste/refuse bins within 2/3 min walk by the main car park close to the beach. But better facilities/disposal of rubbish a longer 10 min walk away. Night shop within 10 minute walk. Bedroom were spacious and very comfortable, kitchen was very functional and large, lounge is spacious and has all you need,WI-FI was particularly good. A very beautiful circa 1900's building. Lidl, Jumbo, Aldi, supermarkets a short 10 minute drive away from property on Torhoutsesteenweg. Tram stop a few minutes walk away on Koninginnelaan to Oostende Center by the Train station for shopping or eating or travel further afield to De Hann or De Panne for some wonderful picturesque towns and beautiful architecture. Your choice. Finally big high five to the Hosts for all the necessary information and letting out such a beautiful home for others to appreciate, relax and unwind in.

Nothing to say here as was everything that was needed/required.

Overall, our experience of the house was very good. Five fairly mature friends, including one couple. The location is fine: close enough to the centre to walk but also close to the Kusttram. The kitchen is very well equipped if you wish to cook for yourself; there is a supermarket not very far away; the bedding was high quality; everything was extremely clean.

The bedroom in the attic is really only for the very fit! The spiral staircase is awkward and allows light from below into the room, which is bright enough already as curiously there are no curtains/drapes on the window facing the street (this has been mentioned in earlier reviews). Similarly, the stairs down to the lower bathroom would make it difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Het huis is ingericht met oudere/antieke meubels. In deze woning paste dit wel. Er was voldoende ruimte om met het gezin te verblijven. In het salon waren er goede zetels aanwezig. Meer dan één toilet aanwezig is steeds een pluspunt.

Onder de kasten en bedden was er niet even grondig gepoetst. De spiegel in de badkamer beneden hangt aan de kast vast en is hierdoor erg laag. Op de kast staat een ronde kom als lavabo. Die was voor de kinderen klein om je tanden boven te poetsen.

De stijl van het huis en de ligging was top. Ook het sleutelkluisje was handig omdat we met meerder personen waren. Er lag een supermarkt en verschillende eetgelegenheden alsook broodjesbar op een kleine afstand. Het strand was rustig maar bewaakt.

In de kamer beneden met tweepersoonsbed waren de poten onder het bed uitgehaald zodat de lattenbodem op de grond lag. De rekjes en kastjes in heel het huis lagen dik onder het stof en sommige ramen gingen moeilijk open. Geen enkel raam had een muggenraam. De eerste dag al hadden we af te rekenen met een verstopte wasbak in de badkamer maar gelukkig was er een klusjesman heel snel ter plaatse. Ook lag er in de badkamer een lamel los op de verwarming zodat er niet genoeg afscherming was. Was we ook misten en vooral voor mensen moeilijk te been was een trapleuning bij de toch wel grote trap bij het binnenkomen. Op de slaapkamer van de zolderverdieping was geen verduistering van het licht. Hopelijk wordt het gezien de eigenaren nog niet lang verhuren in de nabije toekomst verbeterd.
