Good value for money and good location for dockyard

Perfect location for access to the Dockyard on foot which is what I needed. Relatively quiet area. Room provides all the basics you need and is spacious with good storage. Good value and secure with electronic door locks.

Nothing significant to say, other than the general decor is starting to show signs of age. It did not however impact my stay and is only a minor point.

Value for money on a 1 or 2 star facility

I liked the digilocks system as I'm very shy and much preferred not interacting with a host. The instructions to enter the building and room were very clear and the locks were easy to operate. The room was clean with nice facilities including a clean kettle, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cups and spoons. The ensuite was a nice size, clean and good power in the shower. There were plenty of towels, soap, hairdryer and on the landing was an iron and board. There's a self catering kitchen for everyone to use. Tea towels, pots, pans cutlery and crockery, two oven/ microwaves and a large fridge freezer. The area was quiet and there was a small corner shop within a 2 minute walk. I would be more than happy to stay here again. There's a TV with Freeview and good WiFi available.

There was a slight damp smell caused by items not being dried enough but a little airing helped. The window is large and could see right into the buses opposite. I think netting would help with a little privacy. The mattress has seen better days and really needs renewing. There's a really obvious dip in the middle. I stayed alone so slept ok anyway. They did mention the ceiling had fallen through near the washing machines ( not for use) and would not interfere with my stay however seeing other reviews this damage seems to have been there for two years. I do suggest getting this repaired just for appearance but it really didn't spoil my stay. The fridge has an unpleasant odour and is a little grubby but all in all the whole place was great value for money. If you need parking the road is free but absolutely packed and could be difficult to find a space.

Safe quick and comfortable place to stay.

Fantastic size of room the whole place it was really nice easy access easy stay smooth three days

The only small detail is the touchscreen lockers a bit annoying but not big of an issue.
