The property was a beautiful Sicilian house with a tall roof and all the amenities required for a week-long stay or longer. It included a washing machine, cooker, kettle, and plenty of bedding and tea towels available in the drawers. Judy kindly made sure we found some water in the fridge and snacks after our long trip, which we really appreciated. Parking is available on the property and nearby, featuring a road filled with places where you can buy food and other necessities. The road is also quite quiet, which is a luxury given the often chaotic and noisy Sicilian roads. The patio area was great, and you can even have a barbecue if you want.

It wasn't a major issue, but the room was somewhat dark. This was mostly because Sicilian houses tend to have smaller windows compared to the British ones we are accustomed to. As a result, the room feels a bit darker. However, there is plenty of natural light available to take advantage of during the day when you enjoy the lovely Italian weather.
