Quiet setting away from the mad crowds. Great view to gaze at from upstairs window and a map on wall to plan our walks. Comfy clean bed with no city lights at night.

Before we even got out of the car almost had problem with a neighbour approaching us and shouting at us for running over his grass trying to turn the car, Jumped out of the car at once and apologised to cool the situation down. This upset my partner as she was driving and it made her feel uneasy for the remainder of our stay and grass looked fine anyway. If it was damage but it was not, I would of fixed it. It is very awkward to turn around the car (without going onto land that you are unsure who owns), shame as this has stopped us from rebooking.

The views, seclusion and quietness while being close enough to pubs and restaurants. The living room, kitchen and small garden were cozy and wonderfully suited the Lake District family trip vibe. We went up Great Gable this time and were knackered coming back and the warm water, bedding, overall vibe of the cottage felt like a hug. The kitchen was very well stocked. Didn’t need any utensils. We shopped at the farm shop service on the way and cooked cumfortably for the three nights we were there. The rooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable with plenty of thought through items for storage and convenience. Oh did I mention there was a washing machine - haha very useful!!

A clothes dryer would’ve been great. And a blender/food processor… maybe we just like soup too much

Lovely cottage with amazing amenities- massive stove and oven, great kitchen, 3 WCs. Gorgeous view and very quiet and relaxing.

Great location. Great range cooker and provision of a bike shed.

Cold in the lounge and the log burner not very good. No hot water in the en-suite bathroom or blind on the window next to the shower.
