Good location, even at night the street was quite quiet. The room size was good for 3 people and we had the bonus of having a small terrace because the room was on the top floor. The beds were quite comfortable. The breakfast was good and varied. Not bad, but I wouldn't rate this hotel as a 4-star.

The room cleaning left much to be desired, the floor was quite dirty, full of hair and lint. It seems the room isn't used very often. The bathroom needs maintenance, the shower doors are missing and all the water comes out, the shower hose was broken and the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage. We had a problem with a tour reservation we made directly with the hotel via booking.com chat. We negotiated, 2 months before the trip, a price, the conditions, where we wanted to go, everything was ok. When we got there, first the tour wasn't booked, then they asked for another R$111 (despite initially saying the negotiated price was correct), suddenly they were saying that it was mandatory to enter the monuments with a guide and that whoever spoke to us via chat didn't know the conditions correctly. We lost almost 2 hours rescheduling the tour, very unpleasant, and we were left with the terrible feeling of being cheated. It doesn't help that they speak little English, it makes communication very difficult.
