The room was beautiful with a great view of the bay. We did a lot of activities and ate very well. The staff members were al so kind and helpful. ☺️☺️ They really made our stay at the cruise even better!! We really appreciate everything they did to give us an unforgettable cruise. Thank you!

We loved everything about it. We booked the 2 nights and 3 days, which was great value. Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers had two rooms across the hall. Each room was a good size, with small balconies. The food on board was delicious and plentiful. Our staff were all very friendly, attentive and spoke beautiful English. The first day activities included kayaking or canoeing, plus an hour at a beach for swimming and a very long, hot walk to the island peak. It was very busy and crowded, which was the only down side. Day 2 was very special as we joined a day trip boat to go further out on the bay where it was more quiet and not at all busy. We kayaked, walked through a cave and jumped off the boat to swim. It was amazing! Kelvin, the tour operator was very communicative when arranging pick ups and booking details. Harry our boat tour guide was just lovely and even shared some magic tricks that were really impressive. We spent a lot more than planned on wine, cocktails and beer.... but what can you do when you are on a boat in one of the world's most beautiful locations. Highly recommend this experience.

Instead of taking the bus back to Hanoi like all the other passengers, we had asked to be transported to Cat Ba Island. And so began a day of mishaps.... 2 hours waiting at the port terminal, a taxi to the highway to catch a bus, a long and slow tourist bus to the ferry, another long drive and then a taxi pick up to our home stay. Apparently we could have just caught a fast boat from Arcady to Cat Ba in 15 minutes. I did inform Kelvin, who advised he had booked the bus thinking it was the cheaper option and what we wanted. It didn't take away from the amazing cruise, but just take caution when varying the trip from the standard Hanoi pick up and drop off.
