Great host!!

Villa Corina is amazing! The house is set up so everyone has plenty of space and privacy. The king suite was truly better than what we expected. We loved sitting outside in the hot tub then relaxing on the patio listening to the waves every night. The backyard was beautiful with flowers and hummingbirds coming to visit each morning. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip throughout the day. The pool, grounds and house was kept exceptionally clean. The house is just around the corner from the most beautiful beach which was felt like our own private beach most days. The area had many wonderful restaurants to eat at as well. The best part of our stay was our host that greeted us upon arrival. So showed us around the house and promptly answered any questions we had during our stay. We can’t wait to come back!!!

The set up was perfect for our large family and we really appreciated the housekeeping and pool cleaners! It was a short walk to the beach but the beach was gorgeous— we went for nightly sunset swims! I would definitely rent a golf cart as walking to stores and restaurants was a chore. My family stayed at Villa Corina for a week in July and overall we had a mixed experience.The positives: we loved Potrero. It's a quiet town with a beautiful beach, and the house itself was spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and the AC worked great. Catalina and Arturo were both wonderful. Catalina helped us plan our trip before we arrived, and throughout our stay they were responsive and did everything they could to help.Unfortunately, we also experienced several issues. The dishwasher was broken when we arrived and wasn't repaired during our stay. One toilet was out of service for two days. The VRBO listing advertised daily housekeeping, but we only received it twice. Several advertised amenities weren't available, including the beach umbrellas.The biggest issue was a plumbing leak during the second half of our stay. We had workers coming in and out of the house for about 2.5 days, jackhammering inside, painting, intermittent water service, and having to manually turn a valve on and off to use the water. While these repairs were necessary, they were disruptive and had a significant impact on our vacation.I understand that unexpected maintenance issues happen. My disappointment wasn't with Catalina and Arturo, they were great, but with the owners' lack of acknowledgment afterward of how much these issues affected our stay.
