Novallure Villa Margaretha - Short Stay Apartments

Il s'agissait d'un appart hotel, donc avec petite cuisine. Le tout était très bien agencé et propre.

Nous n'avons croisé aucun membre du personnel, tout se fait à distance avec internet sur le téléphone (ouverture des portes). Cela peut être problématique pour certaines personnes ou si on a besoin de quelque chose. Dans la chambre, la poignée de porte de la salle de douche était cassée et tombait sans arrêt.

Very high standard of fittings - lots of dimmable mood lighting around the room, kitchen and bathroom, sufficient comfortable seating and bed. Well appointed kitchenette. Staff were available when called and there was an AI app to deal with most enquiries about costs of services. Once we sorted the app we found the opening of doors remotely useful. decor nice, very clean.

The email with the electronic keys was sent to my autistic son which caused delays and annoyance on arrival until we found it. Additional towels (i.e. replacing either of the two for a week's stay) cost about £7 which felt extortionate. Bike hire was £14 a day which is ridiculous compared to local tram or bike hire on the street. car park was not square so the five 'spaces' were actually four and only then if everyone parked considerately. We paid for a balcony, which turned out to be a marked area adjoining the car park on the ground, with the pot and tobacco smokers walking around and staring into the rooms. A colleague had issues - the shower door hanging off and the shower did not drain and flooded the bathroom.

The location was perfect for our requirement to be near the Voorburg Cricket Ground and there were lots of good eateries just a 5 minute walk away. Dennis responded very quickly when we had some teething problems on arrival. It was good to have parking available The bed and pillows were really comfortable

There was no wardrobe, and no toaster and very little work top or food storage space. There was a big coffee machine taking up most of the work top. Luckily I was able to move it right out of the way to give a little more space. We had to get the sofa bed turned back into a sofa as there were only 2 of us, thus the first day we were very cramped We were not aware that the apartment would be on the second floor with no lift and my husband struggled with the stairs plus I had to carry everything we had brought with us up - 3 or 4 trips and the same on the day we left We thought there might be a “Welcome Pack” with tea, coffee, milk and sugar but there was no milk or sugar, just some tea bags and coffee pods
