Rien

I thought my fondest memory of the Bahamas would be the endless white-sand beaches, the extraordinary turquoise sea, or even the Goombay Festival I was lucky enough to attend. But in the end, Maya Angelou was right: people may forget many things, but they never forget how you made them feel. My hosts’ hospitality was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and completely at home, like staying with a distant relative who immediately made me feel part of the family. It was clear in every thoughtful detail that my comfort and well-being genuinely mattered. Having travelled to nearly 40 countries and stayed everywhere from Airbnbs to five-star hotels, I can honestly say that this was by far my best experience. It reminded me of the original spirit of a bed and breakfast: opening your home (and people) to someone and offering them far more than simply a place to stay. This kind of hospitality inspires me and makes me say, with a smile, “When I grow up, I want to be like Kinson.” Thank you for such a beautiful experience, one I will remember for a very long time. You made me feel at home.

I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Close to the airport.

Nothing that I didn’t like.
