Shenandoah River n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied, vous pourrez donc laisser votre voiture au parking dont dispose l'hébergement ou sauter dans votre véhicule pour le trajet de 20 minutes jusqu'à Parc national de Shenandoah.

Regagnez les 204 m² de ce cottage pour vous détendre grâce à un bain à remous, à du mobilier d'extérieur et à un jardin où se retrouver autour d'un verre. Une fois rentré de vos explorations, initiez-vous au babyfoot ou profitez des équipements suivants : Wi-Fi gratuit, télévision et chaîne hi-fi.

WE had a great 4th of July week at this beautiful house tucked away in the trees. Stores and restaurants were near by and a trip to skyline caverns was only 20 minutes away. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and beds were comfortable. We had everything we could want when it comes to a vacation home. we loved seeing the wildlife, the fire flies and the beautiful scenery in every direction. The gravel road is a bit steep in a few places and washes out just a bit during heavy rain, however, it is quickly regrated and back to normal by the next day. The goat down the road became a favorite amongst the kids and as a heads up, he loves fruit of all kind. We would definitely recommend the River Snug to anyone.

Really enjoyed this beautiful house! The layout worked very well for our family (my husband/51 and I/45, my elderly dad/81, my teenage son/18 and his girlfriend/18). Great view of the river and it felt very private. We all enjoyed the amenities, especially the hot tub. It rained the whole time we were there, so we weren't able to use the decks, unfortunately. We will absolutely be back to this unique house and can't wait to use the decks! The only downside of this house was trying to keep the upper bedroom cool. Even following the directions posted, the room was hot, but we were able to use the box fan that was under the bed. There was one thing that was a little annoying, but just to us, definitely not everyone. So, this is an FYI to help someone else. The upper bedroom's skylight is right above the bed. And the morning sunlight would shine right on the bed (even when it's overcast). If you are an early morning riser then you will absolutely love this room! It really wasn't for us, but that's ok. I actually had an eye mask, so it wasn't an issue for us.We do highly recommend this house and can't wait to come back and also try the other properties the host has to rent!

Our group of 7 (four adults, three kids) greatly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a beautiful location right on the river while also being only 20 minutes from Front Royal and 30 minutes from Shenandoah. The decks were lovely to sit outside and enjoy nature. We made use of both the hot tub and the kayaks multiple times. Property managers were responsive to our questions during the stay. A few notes for those thinking about booking: The hill down to the water is very steep, so could be difficult for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The bedroom on the top floor does not have a door but rather is open spiral stairs to the main floor. This isn't a problem unless someone is making lots of noise on the main floor while those upstairs are trying to sleep. Pay attention to the written directions because Google maps took us the wrong way.Overall, we would definitely stay again!
