Very conveniently located and does the job for the price I paid. The room was very clean even though basic. The owner was very friendly and approachable when I requested for check-in outside of designated hours as I was going to reach Shrewbury after 9 pm.
The sound proofing wasn't great but understand it's an old property

It was very convenient, relaxing and pleasant stay, Hotel located opposite Shrewsbury station which was handy for my friend and saved walking too far. On the day of our stay, my friend (who has prosthetic leg) and I were given a larger 4 bed x 2 bedroom space on 1st floor at no extra charge, as initially we had two single rooms on 2nd floor. The owner kindly advised it would save my friend much effort and struggle on the stairs. Very thoughtful.
Our stay was only for one night.

It was close to where I needed to be for the weekend.
It was cold in the room the first night. There was a shelf on the wall with very sharpe edge and when getting up in the night walked into this cutting my head. The local car parks are a bit of walk
