4 soveværelser med 2 badeværelser inkl toilet, samt 1 toilet. Selvom der er en vej tæt på, er det begrænset hvor meget det støjer. Huset er veludstyret med opvaskemaskine, vaskemaskine og tørretumbler.

Der manglede lidt køkkengrej, som spatel og dåseåbner. Vinduerne er malet fast, så udluftning skulle ske gennem dørene. Madrassen i det lille værelse er ikke ret god.

Nothing- would stay again

Really great rental for a visit to Oxford. The house is in good condition and very clean. The kitchen (and house in general) is well-equipped. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us to sleep, eat and hang out: three doubles and a small single room, a dining room, and comfortable living room. It's easy to get the bus into the city, so it's a great location for those visiting central Oxford. We didn't see the hosts, but the instructions they sent in advance were useful and very clear. As we knew when we booked, there is no parking at the house. But that really wasn't a problem at all for us: there was always plenty of space to park on the side road opposite (free parking at weekends and evenings/overnight, but there's a 2-hour limit between 9-5 on weekdays). During those times we moved the car to the Castle multi-storey car park at Templars Square, about a 15 minute walk away. That only costs £5.50 for the whole day, so is really good value for Oxford. We'd definitely stay here again, and would recommend.

Not a huge problem, but be aware that the house is on a main road and a bus route, so there is some road noise at night (I think the windows are single glazed). It didn't really bother us at all, but it might do if you are particularly sensitive to noise.

The house has a nice feel to it with thick, clean carpets, nice hand soaps and a large kitchen. The house's location is great for bus routes into Oxford. The house is warm and clean. There is a large garden which will be lovely in the warmer months. Somebody has clearly thought about the house when renovating it.

The fans on the bathrooms and ensuites don't work. Not all the bedroom windows open. There are quite a lot of bits left from previous guests, eg spices, half eaten bags of crisps, sachets of coffee in the kitchen and half used bottles of things in the bathroom (which included a used shower loofah). These weren't clean and it wasn't really appropriate for them to be there. I can understand the cleaner leaving some of the bottles but this gave the impression of neglect and a lack of care. There was still somebody else's hair around some of the bottles in the bathroom for instance, and the half eaten crisps etc should have been spotted and binned. However the biggest problem is the sound of traffic which goes on much of the night. We adults were in the front and top bedrooms and three out of four of us had disrupted sleep on both nights due to the noise. The fourth is a self proclaimed heavy sleeper and great napper so no surprise they were fine! It really does roar past however, and you can feel the house move when a particularly heavy bus or lorry goes past. Motorbikes were revving on both nights too. The problem isn't helped with the bedroom windows being single glazed sash windows. In the front bedroom they aren't even flush with the frames leaving a cooler room and more exposure to the noise. There really does need to be a note from the host about the traffic noise as it's really disruptive.
