This was an amazing place to stay. For one the historical factor and the preservation of the home is unique and beautiful. It is in a great location and within walking distance to many museums and the italian district with other food options close by as well. The grounds are well kept. There is parking on site so that is a plus. Small bar and an outdoor patio area which is secluded and pleasantly quiet. The breakfast was way more than just your average continental breakfast and well prepared. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They have a concierge to help with the luggage or questions as well as the front desk and bar staff. The morning crew helping with breakfast are on top of service. I would love to stay here again. It was definitely one of the best places ive stayed in awhile and i travel a lot. My only hesitation is the slight musty smell but it is an old home and some of that can not be avoided when staying in a historical location.
