8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Great location. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is showing signs of age and wear in places but overall very good.

Lift wasn’t working during our stay which was a pain when you have a pram. Bit of a maze for the premium rooms. Breakfast was decent

We liked the availability of a pool and gym. The only real disappointment was lack of attention to maintenance hygiene in bathroom. Extract fan blocked with dust.
Although bathroom overall very clean.

The hotel it’s self was very good the room was a bit tired around the edges but clean, the swimming pool and jacuzzi was very good and a bonus sauna in each changing room, there is a gym that looked very equipped with equipment, towels and fruit at the reception of the spa, the food was excellent good portion size I’m a vegan and was spoilt for choice, to get in to Chester was so easy with 2 bus choices right on the doorstep, would definitely go back
