The hotel is right next to the Fryingpan River. Peaceful sounds of water over rocks, small table and chairs right outside your door to sit at to adsorb the serenity of the location.
The construction noise was minimal on the side by the river. There's a great restaurant next door serving mountain trout. The breakfast was substantial with breakfast burritos and hard boiled eggs, and a variety of breads and and waffles for the carbs.

I loved waking up next to the river and having my coffee.. it was a little loud in my end room. I believe it was the air conditioning from the building next door, going on and off. It was clean and the staff was great!’

What a lovely place to stay in Basalt! We got a room facing the river and it did not disappoint! The patio area is quaint, charming and tranquil. Literally steps from the door, you can hear the river flow all night. The price is fair and everything you need is in walking distance.
Parking is plentiful and secure.
