Sandman Hotel Cranbrook

Room was clean, door stuck a bit, older but clean. Staff very friendly

The services was friendly room was clean only the air conditioning was loud we couldn’t sleep that well

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was very helpful and courteous. I didn't like that the pool was not open and it was very warm weather.

The location was optimal as it was in the center of town. There were lots of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Most of the staff were welcoming and polite. Our kitchenette was mediocre but did the job. The room overall was not great as we found a small bag of marijuana in the cupboard beside the toaster, a pair of dirty tweezers in the bathroom area, the bathroom light in the shower/toilet room would randomly turn off making it difficult while using the shower and there was garbage on the floor behind the night stand and beside the bed closest to the window. The carpet was not vacuumed very well. The pool was shut down which it did not say would be happening when I booked the room online. The blackout curtain were awesome and A/C worked very well at keeping our room cool. The proximity to the train tracks that ran directly behind our room did not bother me but they might be a deterrent for a light sleeper. The beds were comfortable and clean. We assumed "Breakfast for a fee" as advertised on their website, meant that there were discounted breakfast vouchers for the attached Denny's restaurant but that was not the case. No vouchers included. I would probably pass on staying here again while visiting Cranbrook.
