We expected one thing and experienced quite another. This was a lovely hotel, with rooms equivalent of a higher end hotel in a big city, and very convenient to the Capitol Reef National Park. The rooms were decorated very tastefully and provided a warm feeling, were very clean, and had all the amenities one might expect in a nice hotel room. The hotel also offered unique room options making it more curious, with teepees and covered wagon rooms, along with individual tiny house feeling rooms, all circling campfire areas. The restaurant was used for breakfast, with a full menu, which was pretty good, but a bit expensive. The staff was terrific, and made us feel very welcome. The pizza restaurant across the street was outstanding, with cold beer, excellent pizza, and even better view of the mountains from their outside dining. If every visiting the National Park again, I would stay here.
