We loved our room! The location is convenient and the room was great! The price was good, too!

The hotel is like an old school motel but is really well maintained. Everything is clean and in good shape. Checkin was quick and the room was large and didn’t smell like cleaning products. The bed was comfy and the AC worked great and wasn’t intrusively loud. The outdoor pool is in the center of the building so everyone has a pool view.
Breakfast was really good! None of the premixed out of a bag eggs, these appeared to be hand scrambled. All the muffins looked fresh and were wrapped in plastic wrap, not vacuum packed. In all a great place for an overnight!

The River Tree is an excellent value here in this waterfront town of Clarkston. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-furnished. They serve a REAL breakfast, starting very early. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The price is very reasonable. This is my GO-TO place on my frequent trips here.
