Maple Lane Empire

we were looking for just a couple nights close to Sleeping Bear area to hike and bike and this location was perfect. We had a room on the upper level getting a cooler up the stairs was a challenge but not a deal breaker for sure, and BTW we are active seniors so that might not be any problem for younger people. We used the grill and had a meal outside on the deck, walked down the the beach one morning for coffee and in the evening to swim and used the kyacks. The firepit looks awesome but it was too hot to have a fire. We had a kitchenette and worked out great for making breakfast. It had everything we needed. It was quite at night. Would definatly come back again.

The showers are not tall people friendly haha. I’m 6’4 and didn’t really have a fun time in there. It’s very small in general. But besides that the experience was perfect. Rooms were cleaned to perfection, they soap, and conditioner that worked well. They also had coffee which was nice even though I don’t drink, as well as an itinerary for the area in the room. Had such a peaceful time I actually didn’t even meet a single member of the staff due to how easy it was. 5 stars for sure.

Perfect location for everything Sleeping Bear related. We enjoyed our stay at Maple Lane Resort. The room was perfect for my small family and had everything we needed. The kitchenette and refrigerator were helpful and the beds were comfy. We really like the amenities the resort had like playground, fire pit, ice machine and kayaks and paddle boards. Plus it was just a short walk to the lake. We also enjoyed the dock and small beach area. The resort itself was family friendly and quiet. The owners/staff were quick to help and responded easily through text. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property within a few minutes of Sleeping Bear. Had that great up north vibe. Short drive to Glen Arbor which has several cute shops and restaurants. My only issue is the shower could be larger. Very tight fit. Staff was very kind and helpful.
