Nice small boutique hotel. a small walk to the city center, but not bad. You can hear through the walls pretty easily, but I think that might just be how hotels are in Mexico.

The Casa Acueducto is a lovely little neighborhood hotel. The best rooms are on the upper floor, so asl for one of those if available. The hotel sign is small and unobtrusive so you have to watch for it. It is attached to the hotel above the door. Rooms are clean and cleaned every day. Most rooms have a mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker with coffee provided. The proprietor speaks good English and is able to provide useful information about the town an amenities nearby such as a bakery and small store. All in all, an excellent choice.

This hotel is in a pleasant and easily walkable neighborhood. The rooms are nice, it's quiet, it's kept clean, and the rooftop deck is awesome.
But the best part is Emilio. He rushed out to help us with parking before we even got to the door. He reassured us about our travel plans after the disturbing events of late February 2026. If you're going to Ciudad Oaxaca, this is where you should stay.
