We had a comfortable stay at the Summit Inn. The staff was very polite and helpful. We did feel the thermostat left the room a bit warm, despite our attempts to lower the temp a bit. We were surprised to see so few other guests, but realize that the area is primarily popular for winter sports. Our only real complaint was that the coffee-maker was not really adequate, considering the price of the room.

We stayed one night for Tunnel Marathon race. The staff allowed us to late checkout at 12pm, which gave us the chance to have a shower after the run. Very good!

Old? Yes. Safe, clean, and very nice and helpful staff? Yes. Not fancy. Not new, hip, or tech forward. But that’s what’s great about this place. Had a nice pancake, eggs, bacon breakfast at the attached Pancake house, after a vanilla, almond milk latte from the espresso hut in the adjacent lot. Was visiting for a marathon and gladly paid $25 for late checkout (2:00pm). Would absolutely stay here again.
