This is our second stay at Hotel Urashima. They've changed ownership so there is a difference in checking in There are stand alone
Kiosk to check in. Not so personal. We usually get 1/2 board which is buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Both breakfast and dinner have several pre dinner cooking devices that you cook your fish or vegetables. Breakfast could be improved.
My favorite is the variety of onsens and the cave grottto is my favorite.
There is also a shiatsu massage service.

Location : around 10 min walk from the JR station to the pier where the hotel provides free shuttle bus/ ferry pick up service.
Room: nice size and view. Rather old style But i consider it reasonable as it is an old hotel.
Onsen : I love the cave onsen. Very rare. This is the most beautiful features at the hotel.
Meals: buffet style. I always prefer kaiseki style. But it is a big hotel with a lot of guests. Buffer style is easy to manage .
Staff: nice and helpful
Recommended for good value for money
