8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
I have stayed here several times now. On arrival had a long wait to be checked in. Nobody was on reception. When they finally turned up there was no apology for the wait. Room as expected but I thought this time it was looking very tired. Badly chipped paintwork. Dirty marks on carpet. A stone from a fruit from previous guest on floor. Bathroom was in need of refurbishment. New silicone and definitely a new shower tray. The silicone was particularly dirty. Bed was comfy and clean. Fan was provided. Cleaning lady on departure was very cheery and pleasant! Didn't use the bar or restaurant.

Always a friendly welcome from the staff. Great room at a great price. Would always recommend. We dont have the breakfast so cannot comment.

Everything was excellent and lovely breakfast. This is not a complaint but just wasn`t expecting to pay a small fee of £5.00 for parking, I guess it goes to cover some aspect of security, not sure why its not covered by the accommodation cost.
