Large, clean rooms. Helpful staff. We stay here every time we come to Portland. It is easily walkable to museums, restaurants and shopping. It is also on the light rail MAX and close to bus stops. The modest parking fee was well worth being able to park and leave the car in a secure lot. I do object to the $25 "amenity fee", which I think is simply a way to charge more for the room without advertising the real room cost. The fee did not appear in Expedia's on-line room cost.

It is ideally located across from the Willamette River. It is also next to the MAX tram system with easy access to downtown, the zoo or the airport. It also provides easy access to the east side of the river via the Morrison Bridge.
It is very noisy. Also the cafe staff are constantly changing and don't always know the difference between a mocha or a latte...
