The current owners have only had the property a short while hence my poor comment on decor and maintenance. They are renovating the property however the staff were very polite and helpful. Our en-suite rooms although dated were clean. The beds and bedding were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, ample choice only negative comment I can say is ceramic mugs/cups would be nicer than the ones provided.
We wish them every success.

For the £ very pleased, it’s a beautiful old building but with that high maintenance, and building looks tired in places. But clean, staff friendly, free accessible parking was kindly given an upgrade as booked wrong room, very quiet. I would use again as a quick overnight stay around work.
