8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
Nice location on the peaceful shoreline, equipped with kayaks, paddle boards, and a canoe to enjoy the lake.

We had a great stay here. The room was perfectly adequate and clean. Lake Placid has so many things to see and do, we really just used the room for sleeping. The pool and canoe equipment were a great bonus. The location is quiet but it’s just a 10 minute walk to the main streets. Parking was a little tight but we managed. We would definitely stay here again.

There isn't anyone staffed at the location, but they provide a local number to reach out if you need anything.
Code key worked fine. Room was clean, and had a nice view of the bay. Bed was big and actually comfortable (I spend a lot of time in hotels for work).
They had paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks to use, along with life jackets, a grill, and a fire pit to use.
Walked pretty much everywhere we needed to go in town, which was great.
And there's a big grocery store within 3 mins of the location.
I only would have wished for more towels considering we booked 3 nights. I could have called, but we were busy. Maybe just request them if you're staying multiple nights.
Will go back.
