8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
Great hotel. Rooms were large and well equipped. The shower was pretty poor and the hot breakfast could have been better. However, I would definitely come back again and would recommend.

Genuinely an excellent set up and stay, we extended after a wedding and it was a beautiful start to a northern holiday. Top tip ask at reception for discounted tickets to Beamish open air museum!

Good location, access to pool appreciated. Dodgy, I'll fitting toilet seat in bathroom made a noise when in use which resulted in disturbed sleep.
Good quality food at breakfast, unfortunately hardly warm!

An extremely warm welcome at reception was followed by an offer to upgrade our room to accommodate for a mobility issue. Throughout our stay all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but lacked a couple of items that I expect to be on the menu. Overall, I would highly recommend booking this Hotel.
