Have stayed at Laurel Inn for over 20 years every time visiting SF. Obviously love it. Staff is always friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and parking is on site. They have updated the bathrooms, carpet and paint. Sadly they no longer offer free pastries for morning so you need to walk or drive a few blocks for meals or pay $4.50 for a muffin at the Inn. Great and safe area.

Great little inn located in a quiet neighborhood near Presidio. Highly walkable with reasonable covered parking and a nice bar/restaurant next door. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely appointed with robes, comfy beds, and good climate control. Coffee in the lobby and cookies in the afternoons.
