The the hotel was nice location and quiet. One of the rooms that we had was definitely not in the category that we had booked. The room also smelled of smoke and although it was offered to be cleaned with a filter, it did not happen during our stay. Otherwise, it was a good hotel. The concierge was quite helpful.

Excellent hotel. We are used to 5-star hotels in NY and this was at the same level. Especially useful was the staff. They helped by booking us tours, tickets and provided recommendations for many restaurants. Also they were great with kids, and had a teepee with toys and activities set up in the room for the kids upon arrival.

I am torn on this. We paid a premium to stay here in a duplex suit. Firstly the staff were amazing and would do anything they could to help you. They made the stay to be fair. Now to the room, very nice but the carpet was quite marked, loved the upstairs with the second TV which meant we could watch different programmes as there was a TV downstairs. The room is functional and clean, I didn't understand the coffee machine and kettle plugged into a cupboard though!!!
So while we enjoyed our stay, I am distracted by the price we paid, it might have been more expensive as there was tennis event on and the Paris 10K, not able to fully comment on that. Would I have paid full price no, would I stay again, absolutely as the location is great, 10 mins from the Eiffel Tower and 15 mins from Gare du Nord using the metro 8 and 4 lines. Plenty of places to eat around, So location is pretty damn good as well. Maybe I am just a tight Yorkshire man. As mentioned, we enjoyed our stay and would likely stay again as we know our way around now and the staff were great. Hope that helps folks.
