Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown/Medical Center

This is a beautiful hotel, fantastic breakfast, and a nice nightly reception. There isn’t any food within walking distance, but the hotel is centrally located downtown. The fitness room was also nice with all machines working and a full set of hand weights. My issue with this property was that we stayed there for six nights, and at least one of us used the gym every single day. It did not have disinfecting wipes to wipe down the equipment any of the days we were there. I notified the hotel through the app on day 3. Still no wipes on day 6. When I addressed this with the front desk they explained to me that they were ordered and haven’t come in yet. I managed to run to Walmart more than once on this trip for various things, so this didn’t really cut it for me as this hotel is directly in the middle of a large medical plaza. This made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the facilities if a health issue that minor can’t be remedied quickly. This property is convenient and has good amenities, but I will likely choose somewhere else next time due to how unconcerned they were with a cleanliness issue for six full days.

The hotel was clean, and the breakfast buffet was excellent! The staff were extremely attentive, as well as hospitable. The location was easily accessible to lots of places. Drink vouchers were given, and that was very tasty and appreciative. The pull out bed could use a new mattress, because it was hard sleeping on it as an adult. I'm sure that kids would not mind it. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. I did not like the $22 per day parking fee, but there was no way around it. The parking area was not a garage, so I did not understand why there was a fee. Other than those minor discomforts I definitely would stay there again, and I would recommend that others stay also.
