Good area and served purpose for the price. Rooms could use some cosmetic updates.

This is exactly what I would expect from a super eight. It was clean safe comfortable bed. Also AC worked good bathroom was cleaned. They don’t have breakfast being served there, but that’s not an issue for me. It’s in a safe location. Very close to downtown old Saybrook that has a lot of beautiful restaurants and shopping for the value. I would stay here again.

We only stay for one day, we had a very clean room and the manager was so helpful and nice!!!

The Super 8 in Old Saybrook is located in a very convenient spot. The room in which I stayed was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked--so far, so good.
The TV was terrible. The horrible reception made it almost unwatchable--there were fuzzy lines going across the screen, and the sound quality was muffled. The room had quite a few lamps, but not all of them worked.
