Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort

We loved this hotel, only negative was the small areas allocated for sunbeds by the pools, if the hotel was at capacity there would be no room. It was right on the beach though with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas too. The staff were amazing and the location was great. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Lovely hotel. Very walkable location and right on the beach which was fantastic. Loved the private pool included in our room. Lunch and drinks at the hotel were great, breakfast was okay.

Arrived around 8pm at the Hotel. Check in was very quick and i got showed by the staff my room and also got introduced about everything in the Hotel. Staff in all functions where at all time very friendliy and also helpful! Room was one of the "older" Jacuzzy Balcony room. It was clean and also in good condition. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection and lots of staff to help with any special requests. I would defenitive stay again in the hotel.

The Room: We stayed in the balcony suite with the outdoor soaker tub, so let's start there! The room was clean & comfortable and had great A/C. The bed was large and comfy. The view was obstructed, but you could still see the mountains in the distance. We have absolutely no complaints. At times, you could hear your neighbors, but I lowered the blinds to use the soaker tub comfortably and privately. The Staff: Absolutely exceptional. They were helpful and conscientious about small details; leaves weren't on the grounds for more than a few minutes before they were swept up. The bar staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly made great cocktails. Breakfast was exceptional: freshly made omelets, a variety of cuisines, and all tasty and fresh. The beach security really stood out to us. He was kind to the beach locals but asked them to leave if they got pushy, which we really appreciated. Not all properties are like this (we also stayed in Chawang, and the local sellers were a bit much; there was no security there.) The beach: Pristine! Hands down the prettiest water we have ever seen, we have gone to St. Lucia and preferred this water. The location keeps the water calm (this isn't the case everywhere on the island). Lamai has activities, but it is calm, so you can choose whether to party or relax. As noted, we stayed at both Chawang and Lamai; we preferred Lamai. Surrounding Area: Don't forget to go left AND right! Plenty to do.
