I cannot say enough good things about this visit. We were exhausted from our trip and they just were amazing and made us feel great. This place was so rejuvenating and I didn’t even get a chance to try their spa. Their attention to every little detail was awesome. I strongly urge anyone going to Ipswich to stay at this hotel. I wish I could have spent my entire trip there. It is modern in regard to the bathrooms, which I love!, they have air conditioning, everything is spotless, no mold anywhere even though they are next to harbor. So welcoming. And the harbor view from the room was fantastic. Oh and my drinks and my latte in the morning were awesome too! I will make my future uk itineraries include a visit to this hotel.

Great location. Facilities great happy nice staff
Only downside was they didn’t have air con in our room. As they said listed building so couldn’t have air con. But they did have a small fan in
The room
Which helped a bit. Never ever wanted air con in any hotel anywhere in the world. But as England is having a heat wave in June. And having trouble sleeping in any bed room
at the moment. Would have loved air con. Even if it was for just one night. Anyway. Lovely breakfast. Delicious. Staff were friendly and charming. Town was nice. Walked past Ed Sheeran pub Thomas Wolsey. Was hoping to see Ed pulling a few pints. But no such luck. Just have to go
Back another time. Take a boat cruise there you won’t regret it.

Wonderfully renovated old salt house on the Ipswich marina. Gorgeous rooms and lovely restaurant. Attentive, interested and efficient staff. I’ll be back!
